How to Clean and Care for Your Claesson Living Bath Pillow

Your Claesson Living Luxury Bath Pillow is made to be used often and washed easily. The cover and the inner cushion can both go in the washing machine, and the pillow dries quickly. Here is exactly how to look after it.

The short version

After every bath, let it dry. It can stay in the tub; stand it upright.
After every 4 to 6 uses, wash the inner cushion in the machine at up to 140°F (60°C) on a low spin speed (600 to 800 rpm).
Wash the cover on a gentle cycle, or by hand, when it needs it.
Wipe small marks with a damp sponge and a mild household cleaner.

What your pillow is made of

The pillow has two parts: a cover and an inner cushion, both 100% polyester. The inner cushion is a mesh. That mesh is what gives the pillow its volume, and it is also why it dries fast: water drains out through it and air moves through it.

After every bath: let it dry

You do not need to take the pillow out of the bathroom. After your bath, leave it in the tub and stand it upright. Standing it upright lets the water run out through the mesh and lets air reach every side.

Washing the inner cushion

Take the inner cushion out of the cover.
Wash it in the machine at up to 140°F (60°C), after every 4 to 6 uses.
Choose a low spin speed of 600 to 800 rpm.
Let it dry completely before you put it back in the cover.

Washing the cover

Wash the cover on a gentle cycle or by hand, as often as it needs it. Dry it fully before the inner cushion goes back in.

Small marks

For small marks on the surface, use a damp sponge and a mild household cleaner. You do not need to wash the whole pillow for this.

Keeping it mold-resistant

The cover and the inner cushion are both mold-resistant. Letting the pillow dry fully after use, and washing it as described above, helps keep it that way.

Using it outdoors

The pillow is suitable for outdoor use as well as in the bath. The same drying and washing steps apply.
